Obon & Segaki Service
Annually Aug 17th, from 2:00 PM
A major memorial service held during the Obon period for ancestors. It involves saving spirits that have fallen into the realm of hungry ghosts (Gaki) and offering prayers for ancestors.
Many people, including parishioners, attend this service. Please join us for Obon prayers.
Betsuji Nenbutsu Kai
Annually in September
Three Days & Nights
Inheriting the tradition as one of the Jodo-shu Kanto 18 Danrin, this is a three-day, three-night Nenbutsu training session. By stepping away from daily life and single-mindedly chanting Nenbutsu, participants aim for spiritual purification.
General participation is also possible. Please contact us for details.
Autumn Higan
