Frequently Asked Questions

Q When can I visit?
A

The grounds are open for worship from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We recommend early mornings or just before closing for a quiet experience.

However, opening hours may differ due to preparations for ceremonies or events. It is recommended to check in advance.

Q Can the general public participate in ceremonies and events?
A

Yes, everyone is welcome to participate.

Monthly events such as the "Issho-no-kai" held on the second Saturday of every month from 10:00 AM to noon, and the "Fudoson Ennichi Service" on the 28th (Gautama Fire Ritual at 11:00 AM in Jan, May, Sep; service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in other months) are open to all.

Annual events are also open to the general public, but some may require registration, so please inquire in advance.

Q Is there parking available?
A

There are about 20 parking spaces within the grounds, available free of charge for worshippers.

Q Can I receive a Goshuin (temple stamp)?
A

Goshuin are provided as pre-written papers (kakioki), generally available between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

As the priest may be absent, it is reliable to confirm by phone in advance.

Q Can I participate in volunteer or cleaning activities?
A

We welcome volunteers to help with cleaning the grounds or preparing for events within their capabilities.

If you wish to help, please speak to the temple office.
